E.A. Whitney moved from Miles City in He opened the Bank of Sheridan. Mr. Whitney was one of the original investors in the Sheridan Inn. Mr. Whitney lived in Sheridan for 32 years, but he was traveling for about half that time. Mr. Whitney served as Sheridan’s second mayor.
