READ THE INFORMATION AND WRITE SENTENCES. FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE. EX: Bob and Carla went to the same restaurant. But they didn’t see each other there. Bob left the place at eight o’clock and Carla arrived at eight thirty. When Carla arrived at the restaurant, Bob had already left it.

1.Helen’s mother asked her to clean the house at seven o’clock and went to the supermarket to buy some vegetables. Ten minutes later, she came back home and noticed that the house wasn’t cleaned. Hellen hadn’t cleaned the house when her mother came back from the supermarket.

2. Victor and Carla are married. They work at the same company. Victor left to work at six o’clock. Carla woke up at seven o’clock. When Carla woke up, Victor had already left to work. 3. Mary has three kids. They’re very agitated. They went to bed at ten thirty. Mary watched a film at eleven o’clock. The kids had gone to bed when Mary watched a film.

4. Julia learned English in 2009 and a year later she went to the U.S.A. Julia had learned English before she went to the U.S.A. 5. Lisa went to Paris on Thursday. She phoned her parents on Tuesday. Lisa had called to her parents before she went to Paris.

6.Jane and Paul went to the movies. The film started at 10:00. It’s 10:20 and they are in front of the movies. The film had already started when Jane and Paul arrived at the movies. 7. Susan is a homeowner. She had lots of things to do. She washed the dishes at 8:30 and cleaned the house at 9:00. Susan had washed the dishes before she cleaned the house.
