Samarkand Uzbekistan uses one language which is Uzbek. The majority of 88% of Uzbekistan people are Muslims. 12% are other religions such as Christian, Catholic, Hindu, and etc. Soccer is the most popular sport in Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan does other sports such as Wrestling, Boxing, and karate. Some of Uzbekistan famous dishes are Palov, Manty, and etc.

Based on their religion they eat lambs and sheep. Because the Uzbekistan people have different religion they celebrate different holidays. The most biggest holiday is the Navruz or new year which they celebrate on 31 st of December. Women wear a clothe made out of atlas which is a colorful type of silk. Men wear dupalar and older men wear chaponlar.

Some of the most occurring natural disasters are floods and earthquakes. These are very harmful natural disasters. For example one earthquake could kill over 1million people.
