Logic Model, Monitoring, Tracking and Evaluation Evaluation (Section T4-2)

NAVAA2 What is a Logic Model? The Logic Model…. Describes program workings conceptually Lists inputs, activities, outputs & outcomes Requires a step-by-step program analysis Identifies components that must be tracked Is a design for what the program does

NAVAA3 Logic Model Components Often include overarching statements as to program goals, contexts, purposes. Inputs: resources dedicated or consumed Activities: major interventions or elements Outputs: products resulting from the activities Outcomes: benefits from the activities and their outputs (sometimes called impacts.)

NAVAA4 Logic Leads to Monitoring, Tracking & Evaluation Data Collection Techniques and Sources Short- and Longer-term Change Efficiency Productivity Quality Tracking and Timing Reporting

NAVAA5 Tracking Documents Include, reference or derive from: –Goals –Objectives –Performance measures –Action plans Provide management information Reporting issues

NAVAA6 Tennessee OCJP Program Evaluation Strategy Core outcome indicators. Required outcome measures. Data collection: –Client survey. –Case notes. –Agency records. –Community education participant survey. –Collaborator survey.
