Common CV (CCV) – Project Scheme Project Biosketch CV -do not include grants under review or ones that were awarded but declined by PI Reg and App stages -sources limited to parts of the Academic CV -most categories limited to 5 entries -10 Publications (most relevant) -Supervisory experience = 10 entries Project Scheme CO-app CV -5 sections only -5 most relevant Publications -can NO LONGER use the Most Significant Contributions attachment!

UPDATES - CIHR Administrative Changes PROJECT/FOUNDATION grants are e-Approval -online INTERNAL review deadline Signature pages-eliminated for PROJECT Scheme (electronic signature is your consent) -no institutional signatures; no signatures -co-applicants must consent on THEIR own RNet account prior to any submission (including INTERNAL review) INTERNAL deadline time is always 4:00 PM (or sooner) on RNet

Project budgets have NO RESTRICTIONS but eligible budget items which must be fully justified by the research necessity can change from Registration to Application stages Equipment – considered for Project – requires full justification Equipment versus materials & supplies/non consumables RCTs – no limits ($750 K/yr max) – requires full justification BUDGETS - PROJECT specific

Registration on Research NET: Registration is mandatory if planning to submit a full Application - Registration requires a CIHR PIN; new applicants must request a PIN -Registration signals the work flow process between institution and CIHR Information provided to CIHR at Registration cannot be revised in the full Application Except: Summary – minor modifications allowed Budget Participants must remain the same! CHOOSE YOUR INSTITUTION PAID in Project Details on Research NET If you DO NOT choose your institution paid, you will not be notified of yellow highlighted institutional deadlines.
