Bats By Salvador Galindo

Baby Bats Baby bats usually stay with their mother for four weeks. The female mammary glands are on the side to allow her to hang more easily. The baby, or pup, will stay with the mother for about four weeks.

Young Adult Young adult bats eat fruits or insects like adult bats. The young adult bats will then start to mate.

Reproduction Mating bats will mate before hibernation so the sperm will wait until after hibernation then the sperm will fertilize the egg. After the age of two years bats are sexually mature.

Old Bats  After awhile bats will stop mating this will be after the female has given birth. The old bat will die and It is baby will live on to continue the cycle over and over again.
