Evidence on NSW Amalgamations 8 papers in quality peer reviewed journals Proposed amalgamations will not improve TCorp financial ratios. 20 out of the 23 proposed merged entities will be over- scaled and elicit diseconomies of scale. The Fit for the Future process has been distorted by inaccurate data, uses metrics which do not measure what they purport to measure, and can be characterised as policy on the run.
