Programme LV04 “Conservation and Revitalisation of Cultural and Natural heritage” Latvia Sanita Rancāne - Delekolē, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia Overview of the programmes in PA17, EEA Grants

The Small Grant Scheme is aimed at the development of cooperation in the sphere of culture between professional cultural service providers in the Donor states and in Latvia. Supported activities include organization of exhibitions, plays (performances), concerts, festivals and other cultural events. Supported fields: -music, -dance, -theater, -circus, -visual and audiovisual art (including new media), -design, -photography, -literature, -cinema (participation in festivals). Supported activities

Degree of artistic expression, creativity and novelty of the proposed project activities; Promotion of horizontal priorities (good governance, sustainable economic development, social sustainability, equal opportunities and environmental considerations); Promotion of cultural diversity, tolerance, intercultural dialogue and the synergy of different culture areas. Partnership is mandatory Specific selection criteria (in the area of arts)

One open call, end of the call ; Quality criteria are evaluated by external experts (procurement procedure); Administrative, eligibility criteria are evaluated by selection committee. Criteria are divided into adjustable and non-adjustable criteria; Length of the evaluation process - ~4 months. Selection procedure

11/38 projects approved; 3/11 were approved in August,2015 (money transfer from administrative costs); 11 projects are implemented in cooperation with donor partners; 1 project extension. Results
