Brief History 1994 Amendments to SSA –Child and Family Service Plans (CFSP) to meet requirements of Title IV-B and IV-E –Child and Family Service Reviews (CFSR) to ensure substantial conformity with CFSP requirements –First CFSR nationally in 2000, MN in Adoptions and Safe Families Act –Permanency timelines

CFSP/CFSR Cycle MN’s first CFSR in 2001 Program improvement plan (PIP) successfully completed in fall 2004 –Redesign QA system a PIP strategy CFSP developed for CFSP annual report & progress review MN’s second CFSR in 2007 Currently developing the PIP
