Upcoming eText Releases eText –Scheduled for mid-October –Maintenance release –No changes to Viewer eText 4.5 –Scheduled for end-of-year –Updating client to newest version of Flex framework –Documentum integration Ingest from Documentum Archive to Documentum –Very limited number of new Viewer features

eText for Android Development Milestone #2 reached Targeting December release Features similar to eText for iPad app Developing production guidelines

iPad Update 800+ HiEd & 220+ INT’L titles are now completed and “live” 80+ School titles now available on iPad; 400 due by the end of the calendar year Averaging 3,000 downloads per week HiEd eText usage is averaging 100K daily since back to school

Recent Production Issues Pattern fills being used in background of art/charts causing iPad app to crash - posted to KB: Page “streaking” - PDF can’t be more than 1024 pixels in either dimension. Proportionally re-scale. Low resolution images - Re-ingest with new Content Manager settings Ancient Flash animations weren’t playing - Alert vendor if very old assets are being re-used. May require re- building assets with new version of Flash.

Projects and Integrations CCNG –Testing is complete for Scenario 11 integration –Planning future release date for multidirectional linking XL –Testing is almost complete for Scenario 11 –V4.4.2 release will address changes needed to support eCollege app for MyLabsPlus and MasteringPlus TutorVista –Planning stages of working with this new platform Scenario 11 integration with various other platforms –TBD AND MORE!
