Summer Credit Recovery Stillwater Area Public Schools

Background Info  Credit Recovery is a program designed to help students earn credits that they have failed or dropped out of.  Students can earn up 2 full credits during the summer credit recovery program.  Summer Credit Recovery will run from July 6 th – July 31 st.  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday  2 Sessions: AM Session 8am – 11am PM Session 5pm – 8pm

Things to Know  If taking a vacation or ill, please contact ALC attendance:  The students will be given a username and password to access the Edgenuity (E2020) program.  Standard Based Core subjects will be offered.  i.e. English 9, Biology, US History

 18 hours of seat time are required per credit.  Students are expected to attend regularly.  If bringing in snacks/beverages, students must clean up after themselves.  Students will be dropped if:  Absent for 5 consecutive days without a notice from parent/guardian of prior commitment.  Conduct/Behavior Issue that causes the student to be sent to the assigned administrator. Expectations

Other Things to Consider  Breakfasts, Lunches, and Transportation will not be provided.  Students can work on Edgenuity from home with internet access.  Make sure to pace yourself if doing 2 credits.  Do really well on the Pre-Test and there is less work to do for the unit.  If failing a test or quiz, it is reset by the teacher, teacher may ask to review results with you.  If you complete partial credit, you can register for C.R. in the fall to finish that credit.
