1 serving means… 2 small-sized fruit (plum, kiwifruit)

1 medium-sized fruit (orange, apple, mango)

½ piece of large-sized fruit (banana, star fruit, grapefruit)

½ cup of grapes, berries or cut fruit

¼ cup of dried fruit without added sugar (raisins, dried apple chips)

¾ cup (150 ml) fruit juice without added sugar

After dinner ? On festive days? When would you eat fruit?

At breakfast… + Bread + low-fat milk + 1 serving of fruit

During recess time… Potato chips Fruit chips

At lunch… Fast food of no good Rice with peach and chicken fillets

Dessert / tea break… Cake Mixed fruit salad / low-fat fruit yoghurt

When thirsty… Soft drink Pure fruit juice without added sugar

Tips for smart kids Do you know how to choose fruit? Next time, when you go to the market for fruit with your mom, remember to watch out for those… with shinny and smooth skin full in shape with a rich fragrance X smell weird X worm-bitten X rotten

Treat fruit carefully when returned home Wash it thoroughly before eating Put the unfinished fruit into refrigerator to keep fresh Throw away the fruit immediately if you find it rotten or with bad smell
