This primary school is in Warsaw – the capital of Poland Country Details Poland, a central European country, is situated on the southern end of the Baltic Sea. It's an ancient land, one with a tragic history of military invasions, occupations and the brutal experience of warfare. Since the end of World War II, and the eventual fall of Communism, Poland has moved to a free-market system. It still struggles with a complete economic revolution, but the 21st Century has definitely arrived.
