Please move to your Fall partner Using the first page of the packet, Pick any two questions to answer with your partner.

Let’s review our answers 1. Why did the government give public land to the railroads? 2. Who were the vaqueros? 3. What was life like for the Plains tribes before white settlers arrived? 4 What were some of the ideas of the Populist Party?

Traveling by train….. How many of you have? How would you describe it to someone? What does is feel like, look like? What does it look like in the movies? What is the benefit of one say compared to horse and carriage? What does it mean to the West and to the American Indian?
