HAYDEN’S WORK Most famous piece from Hayden. “ Depicts the resident of Harlem’s brownstone houses and showed a thriving African American community.”
HAYDEN’S BACKGROUND Went to school arts at Union in New York City and at Boothbay Art Colony in Maine. Created his first piece of art in 1926, “ Fetiche et Fleurs”(won the award) Lived in Paris, but then returned to the America and worked for the US government.
