Innovation through participation eduGAIN update TF15 - Agenda Brief Timeline (see next slides for further questions) 1 of April 2010 “pre pilot” of the eduGAIN GÉANT3-service will start 1 of October 2010 as pilot service 1 of April 2011 eduGAIN GÉANT3-service in production 1 of April 2013 GÉANT3 Project terminates

Innovation through participation eduGAIN update TF15 - Agenda 1 of April 2010 “pre pilot” of the eduGAIN GÉANT3-service will start -> We aim for few (3-5?) participating federations Testing of technical infrastructure (primarily the MDS) Setting up routines and procedures for contact/support/information A draft policy will exist but no formal signature will be required in this phase. “Get a feeling” for questions/issues that will come up that we are not aware of today. Innovation through participation eduGAIN update TF15 - Agenda 1 of April 2011 eduGAIN GÉANT3-service in production Even more federations joining, we aim for 12 or more!
