Isometric Drawings & Orthographic Drawings Tutorial 5d

Isometric Drawings The faces of three-dimensional figures are two dimensional. Many types of industries use two dimensional drawings of three dimensional objects. The makers of some animated cartoons for example use computers to make wire-frame models of three- dimensional characters. These wire-frame images – basically complicated stick figures– are made up of polygons.

Isometric Drawings One way to show a three-dimensional object is with an isometric drawing. An isometric drawing shows a corner view. It shows three sides of an object in a single drawing. For example: TOP FRONT SIDE FRONT SIDE TOP

Orthograhic Drawings Another way to show three-dimensional figures is with an orthographic drawing. An orthographic drawing shows a top view, front view, and a right-side view. For Example: TOP FRONT SIDE FRONT SIDE TOP Isometric Drawings TOP FRONT SIDE FRONT TOP SIDE Orthographic Drawings
