Put the word or concept in the appropriate place on the card.
Ask students to define the word, use a definition they can understand and explain, not necessarily the one from the dictionary
Depending on the card either: Characteristics- have students list characteristics of the word Examples/Non examples-have the students list examples of the term or non examples which could be like opposites to the word Visual or Illustration of the word
