 Karl Popper was an Austro-Hungarian Philosopher  Regarded as one of the greatest philosophers of the 20 th century  Opposed all scepticism in science

 Born July 28 th, 1902  Died September 17, 1994

 Born in Vienna, Austria  Emigrated to New Zealand during the rise of Nazi Germany, where he became a professor of philosophy at Canterbury University College of New Zealand  He moved to London in 1946, where he began teaching at the University of London in  Died in London

 Wrote the novel All Life is Problem Solving, where Popper looked to explicate the evolution of scientific knowledge  Another one of his books is called The Logic of Scientific Discovery, which is regarded as the pre-eminent novel of its subject  In The Logic of Scientific Discovery, Popper states that science should adopt a perspective of falsification, which is to say that something can be proven wrong by an observation or experiment
