Historical Fiction A story set in the past that contains characters, places, and events that existed or could have existed or happened. - realistic characters -some made up events -details that show the story took place in the past

Characters To understand characters you want to look for text evidence to examine their traits and actions As you read, look for text evidence to help you understand the characters personality and behavior.
