TECHNOLOGY MAKES US BLIND BY: LORNE CHAUVEL

The over use of technology is turning causing many distractions from the real world. This is causing the people to be unware of the situation around them and only be focused on what they see on their phone or other piece of technology. This can sometimes have dire consequences like seen in this photo. This women was on her phone and was nearly hit by the bike.

PEOPLE ARE LOSING THE ART OF FACE TO FACE CONNECTION DUE TO THE OVER USE OF TECHNOLOGY. LIKE IN THIS PICTURE YOU SEE TWO PEOPLE SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER BUT ARE HAVING THEIR CONVERSATION VIA TEXT MESSAGES.

ALSO THIS LACK OF FACE TO FACE COMMUNICATION IS “CREATING HEIGHTENED FEELINGS OF STRESS, LONELINESS, RAGE AND HELPLESSNESS.” (DOUGLAS 5) WHICH KEEPS THEM AWAY FROM PEOPLE SO THEY DON’T DEVELOP SOCIALS SKILLS FOR THE REAL WORLD. sociopath/

TECHNOLOGY IS CONTROLLING US BECAUSE WE US IT SO MUCH. THIS LEADING TO THE LACK OF CHOICE BASE ON THOUGHT BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE STARTING ONLY TO BELIEVE WHAT THE INTERNET SAYS. technology-controlling-you-and-your-life-or-vise-a-ve.html

THE POWERS THAT BE CONTROL THE ISSUES WE SEE AND HEAR ABOUT AND THEY WILL DISTRACT US FROM REAL ISSUES. THEY DO THIS SO THAT THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH WHAT EVER THE WANT AND NOT HAVE A MAJORITY COMPLAIN ABOUT IT.

PEOPLE THINK BY RETWEETING A PROBLEM THEY ARE MAKING A BIG DIFFERENCE BY GETTING THE WORD OUT THERE BUT IN REALITY THEY ARE NOT. FOR EXAMPLE, AFTER THE PARIS ATTACK PEOPLE CHANGED THEIR PROFILE PICTURE WITH THE FRANCE FILTER AND THEY FELT LIKE THEY WERE REALLY HELPING BUT THEY WEREN’T.

“EVERYONE MUST LEAVE SOMETHING BEHIND WHEN HE DIES, MY GRANDFATHER SAID…IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU DO, HE SAID, SO LONG AS YOU CHANGE SOMETHING FROM THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE.” (BRADBURY) THIS QUOTE SETS THE BAR THAT ANYTHING YOU DO AS LONG AS YOUR HAND TOUCH SOMETHING A MAKE IT BETTER YOU HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE.

THIS PICTURE SHOWS THE CYCLE OF STUFF. ITS STARTS AT EXTRACTION THEN IT BECOME PROSED. FROM THERE IT GET DISTRIBUTED AND HUMANS CONSUME IT. ONCE WE ARE DONE WITH IT WE THROW IT OUT.

THIS PICTURE SHOW THE VISUAL REPRESENTATION OF WALL-E

WHEN MONTAG GOES ON FAR FROM THE CITY HE FINDS A DARK PEACEFUL PLACE “A JUGGERNAUT OF STARS FROM IN THE SKY THREATEN TO ROLL OVER AND CRUSH HIM.” (BRADBURY) WHEN HE IS OUT IN THIS PLACE HE FOUND A ESCAPE FROM ALL HIS PROBLEMS AND FORGIVENESS IN HIM SELF.
