Welcome to 3 rd grade!

About Ms. Gurganus My educational experience has been broad and quite rewarding. I have had the opportunity to teach in 8 different states. Since arriving in North Carolina, I have had the opportunity to begin a preschool program, be an administrator, and most of all be with the students directly as a classroom teacher. This is my third year at Silverdale. I have 2 children : and 1 grandson. Things I love: my family & friends, being at the beach, laughing, shopping, travel to any new place, chocolate…and of course my students!!!! I’m proud to be your teacher this year !

Supplies You’ll Need 6 spiral bound or composition notebooks 2 packs of wide-ruled paper Several folders (preferably with prongs) Pencil pouch (no boxes please) Pencils, crayons, erasers, scissors, glue sticks A pop-top water bottle It’s okay if you don’t have all of these items. I’ll share what I have too.

Donations Greatly Appreciated Printer paper (any color) Extra supplies Craft supplies Tissues Clorox wipes Hand sanitizer Treats (candy or small prizes for our prize drawers) Old board games or other games for rainy days

Things to Remember Go to breakfast and use the restroom BEFORE coming to class in the morning. The tardy bell rings at 8:15am.
