For Aerial Delivery items, this means approximately 70 class II items will be retained for management at Natick. For the items transferring to DLA, an early transfer (2010) is being discussed.

Leadership Teaming Communication Employee Support Strategic Thinking Organizational Climate LIN Information A Line Item Number (LIN) The LIN is a 6-character alphanumeric identification (ex. N68062). It is used on equipment authorization documents (such as Modified Table of Organization and Equipment-MTOE, or a Common Table of Allowance-CTA). LINs are assigned during the provisioning process. An item with a LIN also receives an Item Management Code (IMC) of “D” meaning: an item that is a class VII (Major Item) or Class II (Secondary Item) with a LIN. Aerial Delivery has 70 class II items with a LIN and are classified with a IMC of “D.”
