Preparing for the Online Practice Tests In order to provide an authentic practice for test coordinators, administrators, and students, administration of the online practice tests includes a number of steps that are also required for the operational assessments. Step 1 District test coordinators add technology coordinators and school test coordinators to Practice eDIRECT, the online assessment management portal. Step 2 Technology coordinators install and configure the Testing Site Manager (TSM) and INSIGHT order to prepare for the online assessment. Step 3 Teachers and students use the Online Tools Training (OTT) to engage in the online assessment platform. Step 4 Districts or schools upload rosters of students that will be participating in the online practice tests. Step 5 Test coordinators enter accessibility and accommodations for students utilizing Spanish, large print, or text-to-speech. Step 6 Test coordinators create test sessions, print test tickets, and distribute the test tickets to teachers in order to create and provide login information to each student. Step 7 Teachers administer the online practice test using the directions provided in the guide. Students engage in the online practice test. Step 8 Teachers may complete the optional review and scoring of the online practice test using the directions provided in the guide. 14
