Thematic IdeaQuoteCommentary 1. 2.

Antigone Short Answer Quiz  For your short answer quiz, go to announcements/ or go to my website and click on English II and then Announcements. announcements/  Click on the link to the padlet and answer the following question: What is one theme in the play Antigone? Use the Answer Prove Explain format.  See the example below for a good short answer.  One theme in the novel To Kill A Mockingbird is that you shouldn’t judge someone before getting to know them. In the novel, Atticus says to Scout, “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... until you climb into his skin and walk around in it.” Here Atticus is telling Scout to be patient with her teacher and not judge her before really trying to see her point of view. Since Atticus is the moral center of the novel, the reader understands that not judging others is the theme of the novel.
