Germany & Energy  Germany is the largest economy in the European Union (EU).  Fourth largest economy in the world.  Germany is the top solar cell energy producer.  The Reichstag is set to become the first government building 100% run by renewable energy.

Germany &Transportation  Germany has the largest GDP and largest population with the EU  In 2007 direct foreign investment stood at US$ 630 billion.  The railroad network is some 41,000 kilometers long  About 230,000 kilometers of roads.

Germany & Technology  Germany’s most important jobs include; mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, biotechnology and many more.  Companies specializing in green technology have an estimated turnover of 200€ billion.  GDP is 2.407,2 billion € (2009)  70% of employed Germans work in small to mid-sized companies
