© SmartCard Networking Forum Who are we? The Forum is an independent organisation devoted to smart media activities and the public sector. We are a sponsored organisation. We are not a platform for sales or political lobbying. Launched in May 2001 by Founder Bracknell Forest Borough Council and BT.

© SmartCard Networking Forum Our Mission? To be an active Member Forum which shares information, experiences and ideas in a structured and focused environment Managed by the Public Sector for the Public Sector

The Forum has two main categories of membership: –Full membership (public sector), currently free –Sponsor membership The Forum is managed by an elected Core Group The activities of the Forum are bound by a legally approved Constitution agreed by Members

© SmartCard Networking Forum Progress to Date Much higher profile nationally Currently have 595 members from 325 organisations – and increasing 13 Events delivered – Bracknell, London, Milton Keynes, Doncaster, Maidenhead, Newcastle, Coventry, Bolton, Cambridge and Southampton Fully operational website with 50,000 ‘hits’ per month
