Producer-Archive Interface Abstract Methodology Standard Document progression stopped last November by CESG minority view CESG minority view: should be re-tracked as Best Current Practice CESG majority and MOIMS view: should be immediately published as Blue Book and submitted to ISO review CMC expected to address and decide issue next week (17 May)

Submission Information Package No progression for last 6 months due to failure to get precurser PAIMAS standard progressed Discussion this week assumed PAIMAS would be progressed as Blue Book by CMC SIP actions re-instated Key updated actions and dates: Proposal for structure of SIP White Book Prototype of SIP on top of IPR XML Packaging

Action for CMC consideration Clarify procedures dealing with the French version of OAIS (and other) documents Desire to have emerging French translation of OAIS Blue Book obtain ISO approval Can it leave out a non-normative part of the document and still be accepted? Can it make updates reflecting current references? Desire to have it added as a CCSDS web site document
