Exercise 1 Brainstorm (groups of 4-6) What risks are there to you and your patients/clients your safety in the workplace? -Consider the physical, psychological, environmental risks

Exercise 2 Review the NMC guidance on your responsibility in respect of safety in the workplace

Exercise 3 Visit the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) website -Familiarise yourself with the role of the HSE -Review the 4 areas ( Musculoskeletal disorders, stress, violence and slips and trips)within the Health Services Home Discuss within the group and make notes
