powerUP! An Exploration of the Twelve Powers

The Power of FAITH FAITH is the ability to believe, spiritually intuit, perceive, to “hear” and to have conviction.

The Power of FAITH What did you discover about your use of FAITH during the previous week?

The Power of FAITH How did it go using the denial and affirmation? I give no power to limiting beliefs and feelings. I claim FAITH now; I believe I am the best person or Christ I can be.

The Power of STRENGTH  Apostle: Andrew  Location: Small of the Back  Color: Spring Green  Linked with FAITH

The Power of STRENGTH STRENGTH is the ability to endure, stay the course, last, be persistent, persevere and be stable.

STRENGTH used from ego/personality  The ability to endure, stay the course, last, be persistent, persevere, and be stable based on our senses, thought, beliefs and feelings.  We use STRENGTH to stick to a diet or a workout program.  We can also use STRENGTH to be stubborn with a “don’t confuse me with the facts” attitude.

The Power of STRENGTH What does underdeveloped STRENGTH look like? What does overdeveloped STRENGTH look like?

Unconscious Strength   Based on a cause in subconscious mind which consists of beliefs that are not in our moment to moment awareness.   A person might be strong, steadfast or even “bullheaded” without realizing it or really knowing why, because it is being fueled from some unconscious or subconscious belief.

Conscious Strength from our Senses   Based on something in physicality we are gleaning through our sight, sound, scent, touch, and/or taste.   A person slips and takes a pretty bad fall on the ice. From that point on, this individual is steadfast about being very careful around icy sidewalks.

Conscious Strength from our Human Personality   Based on thoughts, feelings, attitudes, and/or beliefs held in human consciousness.   A person believes that s/he can become a doctor. So, this person does everything to stay on track to become a doctor no matter what distractions or seeming obstacles come along.

STRENGTH from Elevated Consciousness  The ability to endure, stay the course, last, be persistent, persevere and be stable based on Divine Ideas, Truths, Principles and Laws.  We use STRENGTH to be persistent in being the person or best Christ we can be.

The Power of STRENGTH Practice: 1. Notice how you use STRENGTH now. 2 Who do you know that demonstrates STRENGTH?

Quickening and Enlivening STRENGTH Deny: I give no power to any thoughts or feelings that I cannot stay the course. I give no power to any thoughts or feelings that I cannot stay the course.Affirm: I claim STRENGTH now; I hold to the Truth that I can be the best person or Christ I can be. I claim STRENGTH now; I hold to the Truth that I can be the best person or Christ I can be.

Next Week: JUDGMENT/WISDOM/DISCERNMENT JUDGMENT/WISDOM/DISCERNMENT The ability to evaluate, discern and apply what we know.
