Wonder plant Lakshmi Taru

Biological name is Simarouba glauca DC English name is Paradise tree. Common names: Simarouba, oil tree, paradise tree or aceituno

Why Lakshmi Taru? The specialty of this wonder tree is that it requires very less water and it can be planted at sea level and even at 1500 mts above sea level. It can be planted in any kind of soil. The life of the tree is about 70 years. It can be planted after the age of 8 to 12 weeks and it needs opening of 45 cm x 45 cm x 45 cm and distance between the 2 tree should be 4 mts. At least 500 trees can be planted in one hectare.

Lakshmi Taru: * increases the fertility of the land. * Helps in reduction of carbon dioxide from the surrounding as it consumes more co2. * reduces the green house effect and also the global warming effect. * reduces the temperature of the earth by converting solar energy to bio chemical energy.

USES: * It's leaf and skin is used in making medicines. These medicines are used in malaria, viral fever, chikengunia, joint pains & loose motions. * It prevents the wash out of the soil and it increases the water retention capacity. *The falling leaves can be used as biological fertilizer and for making vermi compost. *Industrially it is used in making Bio diesel, soap, varnish, detergent, cosmetics. *It's wood can used in making furniture and making paper. *This can be used in making food products like jam, jelly etc as it's fruit contains 11 % sugar.
