Introduction O Have you ever baked cookies? If so, then you know that ingredients have to be measured. O Sometimes, it is not as simple as following a recipe. What if you only need half of a batch? What if you need to double or triple the amount? What if you don’t have measuring cups? O To solve these problems, you need to use measuring skills, multiplication & division, and equivalent capacities. O For this project, you will be a baker trying to adjust recipes and measuring strategies. Task O First, you will complete activities & games for practice. O Your final task is to adjust a recipe by using equivalent capacities and other functions (multiplication and division). O After adjusting the recipe, you will follow the original recipe to create a delicious treat. Process O Step 1: Log onto the website and print out the recording sheet. Click the back button to return to the Capacity E-Lab. Enter the numbers from the recording sheet into the boxes.
