Triumph in Christ 2 Corinthians 2:14

Triumph in Christ We all prefer victory over defeat The Devil wants to defeat us… He does not want us to win the race (1 Cor. 9:25) He does not want us to win the battle (1 Tim. 6:12) But, “in Christ” we can triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)

Triumph in Christ Triumph Over… Sin (Rom. 6:3-4,16-18; 2 Cor. 5:17) Temptation (1 Cor. 10:13; Heb. 2:18; 4:14-16; Jas. 4:7; 2 Pet. 2:9) Disappointments & hardships (2 Cor. 12:7-9; Phil. 4:11-13)

Triumph in Christ Triumph Over… The World (1 Jn. 2:15-17; 5:4) The Fear of Death (Jn. 8:52; 11:22-26; Phil. 1:21-23; Heb. 2:14-15; 1 Tim. 1:10) The Grave (Jn. 5:28-29; Acts 24:15; 1 Cor. 15:55-58)

Triumph in Christ We triumph because Christ himself is triumphant (Col. 2:15) We must follow God “who always leadeth us” in order to triumph (2 Cor. 2:14) We must be “in Christ” in order to triumph (2 Cor. 2:14)
