Why I chose this painting This painting appeals to me because I am a big fan of soccer. I play the sport and it is also my favorite. Also, the world cup is something I look forward to all year long. Soccer is a big part of my life.

Why I chose this Painting I chose this painting because I fight bullfighting very interesting and exciting. Also, it comes from Spain which is where part of my family originates. Why I chose this painting I chose this painting because I am a Catholic who is soon to be confirmed and this painting moves me. It moves me because of the way Saint Francis’ expression is when he sees Jesus, full of sorrow and love. Also, the colors appeal to me. The main colors are yellow and blue, blue resembling darkness and yellow representing light. This connects the painting the light of God, through color! The artist did an excellent job catching my attention.
