2 RIOT PROCEDURE Review all pertinent documents and background information Interview students at selected intervals Observe in multiple contexts with a variety of people Test using both formal and informal procedures and instruments

3 Classroom Observations Follows directions Shares materials Takes turns Attends to movement of those about him/her Attends to instruction to a group of which he/she is a part Attends to bulletin boards, shelved materials, or other visual stimuli
