What do YOU know about twins? Let’s play a True or False Game relating to information about twins…

True or False? There are three types of twins.

If you said TRUE, then you are CORRECT!

True or False? Fraternal twins can only be the SAME gender.

If you said FALSE, then you are CORRECT! Fraternal twins can be boys, girls, or one of each.

True or False? Twins are interesting to scientists, because of their DNA.

If you said TRUE, then you are CORRECT!

What do these 3 types of twins look like? IDENTCAL TWINS! FRATERNAL TWINS! VIRTUAL TWINS!

Why did we choose this article? We all know at least one pair of twins. However, we did not know a lot. The idea of twins forming interest us.

What is the main idea of our article? Explains how twins are formed As well how they are alike and different.

Six main ideas of this article. Just because two people are considered “twins,” they are not always alike on the inside. Identical twins have to be the same gender. there are three types of twins. If one twin is, sehizophrenic, the other twin has a fifty percent chance of having it too. Twins share special “bonds.” Identical twins have the same exact genes.

What is the most interesting fact you discovered in your article? The study of twins has given scientists insight into mental illnesses. They all have different qualities and traits.

How does this article that we chose relate to our lives? IN CASE YOU DIDN’T KNOW…Megan here, is a fraternal twin herself! For Breanna and I, considering she’s our friend, it interests us how twins are formed.

…And now we have Megan, saying how its like to be a fraternal twin! Please ask questions if you have any!
