I. Are we Worshiping God in everything we do ? No ! EvangelizationEdificationBenevolenceWorship

Benevolence “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” Galatians 6:10

Everything we do individually Is not worship ! 1 Tim. 5:8 – provide a living Titus 2:5 – “keepers at home”

II. What is the difference in worshiping or serving God? Rom. 6:16-18 Rom. 6:16-18 = servants Obedience is doing What God commands

All service is not Worship  Eph. 6:4- parents train children  Discipline  Col.3:20- children obey parents  Chores  II Thes. 3:6 – withdraw  Matt. 5:16 – let our light shine  Jas.1:27 – pure religion

III. What about having Choral groups ? It would be wrong to have them sing for our worship Bible authorizes congregational Col. 3:16 Eph. 5:19

Not wrong if not a part of our service Funerals – small group sings Weddings – solo Group practice singing What about a Choral group from a College ?

IV. Who should take part in conducting the services ? Acts 20:7 Men whose are righteous Good influence and respected 2 Tim. 2:2 “faithful men”

V. What about a Woman’s Role in worship ? 1 Tim.2:11-12 Not allowed to teach or have authority over a man Could not preach or lead in the public worship

Can a woman speak in a Bible Class ? Yes ! 1 Cor. 14:34,35 – special time in the first century What about singing ? Could she confess her faith?

Can a woman lead a prayer ? No! 1 Tim. 2:8 “the men” Can a woman serve the Lord’s Supper ? Can a woman teach a class after a boy obeys gospel ?

VI. Do we Worship Jesus or God ? We really worship Both Christ Matt. 2:11 Mark 5:6 Luke 24:52 John 9:38God Rev. 22:9 Rev. 19:10
