SCHEDULING OF CLASSES English Placement is determined by English Department Chair ISTEP+ and ACUITY test scores and GRADES are used World Language Placement is determined by English Placement Math Placement is determined by 8 th Grade Teacher Recommendation Besides earning required number of credits to graduate, ISTEP+ must be taken and passed to graduate.
SCHEDULING OF CLASSES CONTINUED Indiana Career Information System (ICIS) offers many tools to help with career exploration, college searches, etc. Family Access helps you keep up to date on student’s grades, attendance, lunch account balance, and teachers Requests for schedule changes can be submitted to counselor the first 3 days of each trimester Dropped classes after day 3 of a trimester will be recorded as a withdrawal failure (WF) on the transcript. Besides scheduling of classes, counselors can help students will personal concerns, post-secondary planning, conflict resolution, and be an adult advocate for them.

ATTENDANCE POLICY Attendance Telephone Ext High School Attendance differs greatly from middle school !! Only 4 unexcused absences are allowed in each class each trimester More than 4 unexcused absences in a class could result in Loss Of Credit (LOC), even if a passing grade was earned Absences are only excused with doctor statements, funeral documents, and pre-arranged absences with an administrator Parent call-ins are authorized, but NOT excused Required classes with LOC, must be retaken
