Putting Together the Pieces of the Puzzle

Step 1. Brainstorm Big & Small Ideas Step 2. Sort ideas into:  Ideas to implement now  Ideas for later but need some actions steps now  Ideas for later Big & Small Ideas that will work in my Community

From Idea to Action Step #1 – Take a few moments to think about the NEXT SIX MONTHS and what you believe needs to be accomplished for this IDEA. Step #2 – Then AS A GROUP come up with the 1 st Steps to move this Idea to Action. Sustainability  Sustainability is NOT just about “replacement” funding  Sustainability IS about building it into the ongoing planning of a coalition seeking funding for new initiatives and innovations  Sustainability is NOT about doing the same things forever  Sustainability IS about finding other organizations to adopt an activity of importance while being a leader in innovation  Sustainability is NOT about programs  Sustainability IS enhanced through policy development  Sustainability is guaranteed when the community become the long-term carriers of the solutions - culture change
