小王子 The Little Prince

Status: 1.The reading rate is just behind the BIBLE in the western. 2.It’s a fairy tale for adults, and children also like it. 3. It is the French literature, being translated the most.

B612 planet: 1.It is a planet where the little prince lives. 2.There are only a few things, such as two active volcanoes, one extinct volcano, baobabs, and a rose. 3.It is so small that the little prince can see the sunset 44 times in a day.

The little prince sees different people through travelling seven planets. In there, everyone has their own missions.

In the first planet, the little prince meets a king who likes to rule subjects. Power and loneliness → real yourself

Criticism → your own small world The second planet is inhabited by a conceited man. Except for praise, he can not tolerate any words. Criticism → your own small world

Contradictions → solve the real problem The little prince visits a tippler who wants to forget the shame of drink by drinking. Contradictions → solve the real problem

After that, the little prince comes to the fourth planet, the businessman only thinks Numbers can represent all. 6 5 1 2 3 Own opinions → care about others

The little prince meets a lamplighter in the fifth planet The little prince meets a lamplighter in the fifth planet. Almost a sunrise or a sunset appears every minute, so the lamplighter lives a busy life. Mechanized → flexible

In the sixth planet, the little prince meets a geographer who has never had to explore, only learning the world from the mouth of the explorer. Permanent → instant

Then, the little prince comes to the earth Then, the little prince comes to the earth. He makes friends with a fox, from which he learns that you mustn’t forget to be responsible for what you have had done.

In the end, the little prince meets the author, a good friend, who draws a picture of sheep for him. The sheep wears a mask to prevent it to eat the rose. In the parting, author is very upset, but has no choice. He will never forget this special friend!
