IMO Audit Findings - IT’s

As per Market Rules, IT’s must be Measurement Canada approved or operating under Measurement Canada Temporary Permit - which expires May 1, 2004 IT’s must be operating on the MC approved tap and within the burden and rating factor limits Number of installations consisting of MC approved IT’s but not operating on the MC approved tap. IT’s listed on MC Temp Permit. Number of installations have non MC approved IT’s and are not listed on the MC Temporary Permit. Subject to compliance.

IMO Audit Findings - IT’s Meter installation consists of distribution transformers for VT’s (non MC approved and no accuracy rating). –May or may not be on MC Temp Permit –In some cases, distribution transformers are also used as station service transformers. Auto transformers used in CT circuits of some meter installations. Unable to determine IT accuracy in some cases.
