PRESUMPTION: HOW DO WE THINK ABOUT MONEY? 1. Do I rely on God or on my own wisdom financially? Do I take credit for my financial successes?

STEWARDS OF GOD’S MONEY  (Luke 16:11-12) [ Jesus ]: So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches? {12} And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property, who will give you property of your own?

STEWARDS OF GOD’S MONEY  (Luke 16:11-12) [ Jesus ]: So if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, (money we manage/use on earth) who will trust you with true riches (eternal ministry)? {12} And if you have not been trustworthy with someone else's property (Our money is really God’s) who will give you property of your own (eternal impact of our lives)?

Do I try to impress people with my financial cleverness? 3. What motivates my drive to earn more money? 4. Do I truly grasp the temporary nature of money in the scope of this short life?

SEEKING GOD’S WILL WITH OUR MONEY  Are we serving God or money? (Matthew 6:21) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also…{24} "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.  Are we worrying about money or focusing on God’s eternal purposes? {31} So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' {32} For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. {33} But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. {34} Therefore do not worry about tomorrow…
