The Infante Baltasar Carlos on Horseback 1) This painting is painted by Velazquez, Diego Rodriguez de Silva. 2) It was painted just after ) It is part of the Romanesque era. Explanation I enjoy this painting because it fits well with the color of the Romantic era. It reminds me of a war being over and men returning to see there families. It represents speed with the horse jumping in the air.

St. Andrew 1) Painted by El Greco 2) Nicknamed the “St.Andrew” 3)It was painted in 1610 in the Baroque Era Explanation This painting reminds me of my religion. Inside my church there is a stain glass window of a well known saint in the same position. With his hands together it tells me he is praying for something. The wooden pole is most likely a cross he is carrying.

Skipping Rope 1) This was painted in 1907 which is the modern era. 2) It was painted by Joaquin Sorolla. 3) It is called “Skipping Rope” because the girl is jumping rope. Explanation This painting reminds me of my childhood. When I was a kid we use to have a pond in our yard with trees around it witch makes me vision this picture. I like the way the artist makes smears the painting making it blurry. It makes you pay closer attention to detail.
