To stop or wait for a time; be slow in acting. Sentence: I hesitated getting in the water
Unbelieving Sentence: I am incredulous that my teacher asked if we wanted to play on the ps3.
Coolly unconcerned Sentence: My mother was so upset that I was so nonchalant about my report card.
Defying or resisting some established authority, government, or tradition; insubordinate; inclined to rebel. Sentence: The teenage boy was rebellious against his parents.
Public estimation of a chorus. Sentence: Tom Hanks has a big reputation.
Competition Sentence: In the race, the boy had a rivalry with another person.
Scornful, ironic language. Sentence: My cousin has a lot of sarcasm.
Coming from or exhibiting compassion Sentence: My mom has sympathy.
Not understandable Sentence: Babies are unfathomable.
