Panda By Laylynn Landry

Pandas are two kinds of animals that live in Asia Pandas are two kinds of animals that live in Asia. Giant pandas live in China. Red pandas live in China, India, Nepal, and Myanmar (formerly Burma). The two animals look very different. http://www.worldbookonline.com/kids/media?id=pc038868

Both kinds of pandas eat bamboo Both kinds of pandas eat bamboo. Red pandas may eat some fruits and berries as well as bamboo.

Giant pandas look like bears and, like bears, they can stand on their hind legs. They have white, chubby bodies with black legs and a black band across the shoulders. They have white faces with black patches around the eyes and black ears. They have short tails.

Pandas have an “extra thumb” that grows from the wrist of each front paw. They use their extra thumb to help hold the bamboo.
