7 DAF Candidate Standards Analysis RECAP – Last Week’s discussion surrounded Consent and Security labels used for data disclosure – DS4P community provided details on how it can be applied to address the necessary security and privacy concerns – Also DS4P can be used with SOAP/FHIR/Direct query stacks and layered as necessary.

9 SOAP Query Stack Discussion As outlined in the spreadsheet – For the SOAP query stack there is a possibility of using XDS and/or XCA Briefly speaking XCA allows retrieval of documents from distinct affinity domains Also supports federated queries Supports the Gateway concept – Thoughts from the community on usage of XDS vs XCA ?

10 RESTful Query Stack Discussion As outlined in the spreadsheet – RESTful query stack has multiple options IHE MHD Native FHIR – IHE MHD Revision 1 is limited in terms of its ability Revision 2 is being aligned to FHIR – – Reach out to IHE team in progress If IHE Team can update MHD to support DAF queries then we can align with IHE MHD If MHD is not updated to support DAF queries, DAF initiative will have to create a profile working with HL7.
