SIMILE A comparison between two things that are not alike, using words such as LIKE or AS

METAPHOR A comparison between two things that are not alike

HYPERBOLE Uses exaggeration for emphasis

PERSONIFICATION Figure of speech when inhuman objects are given human qualities
