Competencies that the student gains during the First Cycle in Psychology Study Program 1 st Cycle  Demonstrates knowledge and understanding about various psychological theories and schools  Demonstrates knowledge and understanding about various manifestations of psychological phenomena and their development: states, processes and characteristics, as well as psychological disorders, and critical judgment of psychological and social factors of disorders.  Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the methodology of psychology and statistical methods for data analysis.

Competencies that the student gains during the Second Cycle in Psychology Study Program 2 nd Cycle  Demonstrates expanded and deeper level of knowledge regarding psychological schools and directions, and shows high level of professional competency during conceptualization of the psychological life depending on psychological conceptual systems.  Demonstrates expanded and deeper level of knowledge and understanding about psychological characteristics of cognitive, emotional and motivational processes, as a continuation of the First Cycle, as well as their correct identification, understanding and reaction in daily life.  Demonstrates expanded and deeper level of knowledge about the relations between social and cultural context, social and cultural diversity and individual social behavior and experience.

Competencies that the student gains during the First Cycle in Psychology Study Program 1 st Cycle  Can apply adequately their knowledge and understanding in the field of applicative psychology in acting preventively at various age groups and categories.  Can implement an adequate instrumentation during judgment and diagnosis of the cognitive and emotional capacity of the personality and their adequate implementation during decisions of individual treatment.  Can apply their knowledge and understanding for developing psychological judgments of children and youth with obstacles in their development as well as capacity in the mental-hygienic work of such people that will enable them easier access to the job-market in the future, which will contribute to the improvement of their own world and environment.

Competencies that the student gains during the Second Cycle in Psychology Study Program 2 nd Cycle  Can apply their knowledge and understanding for judgment and can use advanced statistical methods (through software statistical packages for scientific- research data analysis) and adequate methodology, in critical, independent, creative and original manner, to correctly implement them in the field of professional research work in learning psychological characteristics.  Can apply their knowledge and understanding to conduct original research as well as demonstration of the capacity for independent, original work that could be published in some professional psychological journals.

Competencies that the student gains during the First Cycle in Psychology Study Program 1 st Cycle  Can communicate within the frames of interdisciplinary and counseling teams.  Can present professional knowledge of adequate psychological problems in front of professional and non-professional audience.  Can disseminate their knowledge and understanding in an adequate manner be that educational or non- research institutions.

Competencies that the student gains during the Second Cycle in Psychology Study Program 2 nd Cycle  Can clearly and unambiguously exchange conclusions and suggestions stemming out from research’s approach with scientific, critical and rational arguments, be that with professional as well as non- professional individuals.  Can take important responsibility for the results; can lead and initiate activities for scientific research of problems of general social character.

Competencies that the student gains during the First Cycle in Psychology Study Program 1 st Cycle  have the ability to implement adequate psychological instruments and techniques for professional orientation and professional selection.  have the ability to make distinction between various psychological phenomena as well as the level of their development or stagnation.  have the ability to implement various approaches during the preparation of the psychological profile.  have the ability for deriving independent conclusions while working with interdisciplinary teams.

Competencies that the student gains during the Second Cycle in Psychology Study Program 2 nd Cycle  have the ability for critical approach regarding actual and new information coming from professional or non- professional sources, leaving room for productive thinking and independent work during their synthesis and integration in the scientific research of the problem.  have the ability to make correct judgment and the right choice of the scientific concepts, principles, theories, methods, and of the adequate instrumentation that will be implemented in the practical research.  have the ability to systematically and creatively deal with complex issues, in order to formulate solid judgment with incomplete or limited information in which the personal, social and ethical responsibilities are included during the implementation of the gained knowledge and judgment, as well as critically judge scientific as well as non-scientific results taken from other researchers.

Competencies that the student gains during the First Cycle in Psychology Study Program 1 st Cycle  have developed the learning skills for following scientific and pragmatic achievements in the field of psychological phenomena and problems.  have developed the learning skills for meta-cognition that allow for professional development and self- actualization.

Competencies that the student gains during the Second Cycle in Psychology Study Program 2 nd Cycle  Have the learning skills for identification of personal need for acquiring new knowledge and skills.  Have the learning skills to think for and evaluate their own work.  Have the learning skills to undertake responsibility for future individual learning through the development of advanced cognitive skills which will enable development and creation of knowledge.
