WHAT DO OPPRESSION LOOK LIKE?  Tradition: Men are the head of the house.  Women who speak out for their passion of pursuing education could be killed, abused, or raped.  Girls who want to receive education could be considered breaking the “law”

THE LEAST EQUITABLE COUNTRIES: YEMEN  Women have a 55% literacy rate  Nearly half of girls never step foot in a classroom  Only one percent of women ever attend college

THE LEAST EQUITABLE COUNTRIES: CHAD  Women have a 24% literacy rate  Just 5 percent of women attend secondary school (high school).
