Proposed Research Topic -- To analyze and study the strategy that China Airline uses for cross-strait flight policy.
Research Question: 1.How does China Airline manage to make profit from Cross-strait flight policy through a successful strategy? 2. How does China Airline establish a strong position for themselves in order to expand their market share? 3. How does China Airline satisfy customers by providing what they want?
Purpose 1. Study the policy of cross-strait flight and evaluate the impact it brings to Taiwan’s airline industry. 2. Analyze the market potential and business opportunities from cross-strait flight policy. 3. Analyze different style of business strategies of airline industry. 4. Devise and provide recommendation on cross-strait flight strategy for China Airline.
Background In August 31th 2009, the cross-strait regular flights took the place of charter flight, there is no longer limitation of flight between Taiwan and China.
